Moon Bo-Kyung’s home run that was blocked…LG scores 3 runs in the 5th inning against Jang Jae-Young
LG Twins infielder Moon Bo-kyung (23) hit a home run to break through a frustrated batting order.
Moon hit a leadoff solo home run in the bottom of the fifth inning of the LG Twins’ game against the Kiwoom Heroes of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on Nov. 11, batting sixth and playing third base.
The LG bats were held in check by Kiwoom starter Jang Jae-young until the fourth inning, collecting just one hit. It was a frustrating offense as they had scoring chances in the first and third innings but went scoreless.
However, LG ended the frustration in the fifth inning with a single from Moon Bo-kyung.
Leading off with a walk, Moon took a five-pitch curveball from Jang Jae-young on a two-ball-two-strike and connected with a 120-meter solo shot. It was Moon’s sixth home run of the season.토토사이트
Once the clog was broken, the LG bats came alive.
After a double by Park Dong-won and a sacrifice bunt by Kim Min-sung put runners on first and third, LG scored on an RBI single by Park Hae-min and a two-out double by Moon Sung-joo to make it 3-0.
Jang Jae-young, who had been pitching well but faltered in the fifth and gave up three runs, struck out Kim Hyun-soo to put out the flames.
