K3 Gyeongju Hansuwon recruits Japanese MF Komatsu as its first Asian quarter
Gyeongju Hansuwon FC brought in a foreign player from the Asian Quarter for the first time in the club.
On the 31st, Gyeongju Hansuwon FC said, “We recruited Hayata Komatsu (hereinafter referred to as Komatsu) from Montedio Yamagata in the J2 League. 안전놀이터Komatsu was registered as the first foreign player in the Asian Quarter of the Gyeongju KHNP club.”
Komatsu is a defensive midfielder born in Japan in 1997 and is evaluated as a player with passing and defensive skills. It is expected to help Gyeongju KHNP increase its power in the 2023 season.
Komatsu is from the Yokomaha F. Marinos U-18 team, started in the J3 League in 2017 and advanced to Montedio Yamagata in the J2 League in 2020. In 2022, he played in the J2 League where he played for Iwate Grulla Morioka where he made 29 appearances and scored 3 goals. He recorded 7 points and 5 assists in a total of 142 games including the J2 and 3 leagues. Komatsu played an active part in Iwate Morioka along with Jang Hyeon-su from Bucheon FC and Kim Jong-min, who transferred to Cheonan City FC this season.
Komatsu, who joined Gyeongju KHNP, said, “I am really happy to come to Gyeongju KHNP, a strong team in the K3 League.”
Gyeongju KHNP is planning to leave for the 2nd winter field training in Jeju Island from February 1st and pour sweat to conquer the K3 League in the 2023 season.
